They give me an upset stomach too and I know other people who have said the same thing. I think the reason people gain weight on SSRI's is because they tell you to take them WITH FOOD so you don't get as much of an upset stomach. I think people just eat and eat to get rid of the sick feeling.
I didn't gain or lose a lot weight on them. I gained a bit but I've been on them for a few years so I think I would have gained anyway.

I was on Zoloft for two years. It did nothing to help my panic attacks and it did upset my stomach. Now I take Paxil cr and I have had no upset stomach, but I have lost some weight; not a vast amount of weight; only about 12 pounds or so. Maybe whatever you are taking is not right for you or maybe your Doctor can give you something to ease the stomach discomfort.

I've been on Zoloft for a week now and the first few days I noticed a decent amount of nausea, I have lost a few pounds recently after starting it, But in the last few days It's slowly dissapated, I did notice a decent amount of dizziness and my pupils had dilated a few times while taking it, but as for the upset stomach, Whenever you take it , take it with a small snack or small meal, Also crackers, and ginger ale, help ease that queezy feeling, They also make ginger candies that you can suck on that help with that nausea feeling.

Most SSRIs make you gain weight. Perhaps you are losing weight because you eat less due to stomach upset. Speak to your MD about changing if this side effect is upsetting. many choices out there...

Been on Zoloft for years. I notice a low grade nausea quite often, which sucks, but panic attacks are worse.
