Take some kind of pain killer (sorry, I can't spell right now, is it Aspren?) anyway, have you tried cracking it? Well, that may be the problem and make it worse. I stayed home from school, too. SNOW DAY party time, Excellent! Sorry, try going to a doctor. Hey, if you can only keep it at the left, how did you manage to type and stuff? Well, it could go away by tomorrow, hang in there, dude.

More than likely it's a muscle spasm, but your neck could be out. If you don't want to see a chiropractor, definitely use the methods you've been given: ibuprophen every 4 hours and heat packs. If you go to the chiropractor it'll start feeling better almost immediately...if you do the "home remedy" it may take a day or two.

Molasses is the quick way to help the muscles loosen up but for a full understanding read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies.

The same thing happened to me when I was young. I remember till this day the pain...... I went to the docs(which you should do just in case) and They told my mom to feed me bananas ..... I think I was lacking vitamins that bananas contain.. Potassium.. But anyways, it went away in a few days.. Good luck..
