can you make your hair thinner without having to cut it?

i've got long bangs, and i'm trying to make them thinner, but i SERIOUSLY don't want to cut them...

Thinning shears.Proceed cautiously if you do it yourself.

There are scissors called thinning shears. They cut only some of the hair each time. This thins the hair out. That is the only way to thin hair. Sorry.
