There would be none if that's what was happening at church. You're obviously not a believer, so I wonder why you're so obsessed with church, the Bible, Christians. Maybe you need to look into that. Alternatively, if you're just fixated on ridiculing people, you have a very empty life. Try church!

Do you know why they hear the samething over & over, it is because they did not get it the first time, My church teaches different things just about every service, Some of our topics can run into 3 or 4 months from the beginning of the topic to come to the end of the topic.

Because most people are very hard headed that they need to hear it over and over again in hopes that the good news will crack peoples thick skulls to where they get a much better understanding of God's Word.
On the other hand,if your pastor is someone like John Hagee where all he or she talks about in his or her sermons is his or her political views and constantly criticizing the world more than preaching the Word of God then I wouldn't go back to that church.

There's more to church than just "speeches"
I'm sure you know that, and if you get involved, you really know that.
That reminds me of the story of the minister that gave the same sermon three sundays in a row. If anyone said anything to him about it, he wouldn't say anything.
The fourth sunday he took the pulpit and then told his congregation that he would keep delivering the same sermon until the people acted on what he had been preaching on. True story.
They then got the point. And a different sermon.

People with poor logic skills also tend to have a lack of retention. They need to hear the same thing over and over because by the end of the week they've forgotten that they already heard that.

You are evidentally going to the wrong building. Go to a Non-denominational Church in your area and find the Saints that were spoken of in the Real WORD of GOD! HE will see you thru the entire week with the message that you receive from HIS WORD!

Study these scriptures and see what you think. To become a Christian:
HEAR - Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
BELIEVE - To the Prison guard in Acts 16:31 Paul and Silas said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household."
REPENT - Acts 17:30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent.
CONFESS CHRIST - Matthew 10:32 "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.
BE BAPTIZED - Mark 16:16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
CONTINUE TO BE FAITHFUL - Revelation 2:10b Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
Send me a note if you have questions. I am anxious to hear from you. Have a Great day.

Maybe you need a new church lol.

My pastor doesn't make speeches and certainly doesn't say the same one over and over.

Oh, perhaps you need to actually listen to what's being said instead of assuming it's the same thing lol

That would be boring. I go to a Non Denominational church and the teaching is fresh and provide wonderful insight to the scriptures. I invite you to try one for your self and see first hand.

That's easy.

All people are - to some extent - creatures of habit. They find comfort in routine, in patterns, in habits.

They need to be there to "recharge" their spiritual ni-cad batteries.

You listen to a song more than just once, don't you?
You've had a child ask you to repeat a bedtime story?
You have any kind of morning ritual?

I'm not beating the drum for organized religion by any means, just saying we all find comfort in habits.

I don't recall ever hearing the 'same old speech'. If I did then I would agree with you.
