Actually, the Bible does teach about germs. Reread the Law given in Exodus and repeated in Deutronomy. In it, it outlines processes for sanitation, fighting mold (which is a bacteria - so the Bible DOES acknowledge their existence), washing hands, properly handling and storing food, avoid contact with dead and decaying bodies (human or animal), etc.
Jesus also said to his follower that "the sick have need of a physician". So he encourages the use of medicine and medical when a person was ill.
Nice try, but because you haven't read the whole book, you had seen the answer for that one. Keep reading. All the answers are in there.

*snicker*...you need to read some more before you post a question. The bible talks about sickness and disease and there were medical treatments spoken of and one of the apostles was a physician. The bible doesn't mention YOU either...does that mean you shouldn't be here? Demonic possession was never spoken of as being the cause of illness. It was spoken of as well, demon possession. Did the bible blame leperosy on demons? Noooooooooooooooo. Evolution is only a theory. I don't have to argue it...it's accepted the world round as a "theory". The Bible is treated as a theory as well by many. My world view and your world view are 2 theories. Who is right and who is wrong. You decide. But why must you attack the other belief system? Is your faith in your own understanding so fragile that you have to attack others to validate your own beliefs?

Hey,
There are lots of scientific theories around, with various levels of doubt involved. Most Christians know that there are germs.
Evolution on the otherhand, happened over a very long period of time. Millions of years. Its obviously alot harder to verify and hence has a higher uncertainty factor associated.
Over the centuries MANY established scientifc theories HAVE been disproved.
Heck, Newtonian mechanics seemed "obvious" enough and there is TONS of evidence for it. However, it happens to be WRONG. Relativity theory is closer to the truth. Even that however is not quite right.
It is "only' a theory but some theories are more established than others.
Obviously there is TONS of evidence for evolution and more importantly there are no really alternative theories we can come up with scientifically so far. There are also TONS of unanswered questions about it and tons of speculation.

Dr LUke wrote more of the New testament than anyone else word for word
now then... antibiotics are from purely operational, experimental science and is from the realm of the observable, testable and repeatable and the realm of operational science
origin sciences are not so...the speculation of evolution is not subject to the repeatable, observable and testable and more from the more imprecise the sleuthery of historical studies. In this case, origin sciences also drag allot of presuppositions - assumptions and philosophical baggage to the table in hidden form and are more of a philosophical materialism in the guise of science
not the same, one is from operational science and one more from the historical sciences
they are so different perhaps the question itself is an illustration of how schools equivocate the speculations of evolution. They definitely do not mention that macro evolution is data + lotsofassumptions => a religious view
Creationists and evolutionists actually have the same data, the data is not the difference, the assumptions are

The fact is when Evolution is able to gather half the facts that we presently have about Gravity or germs, I will believe it. The problem is that evolutionists, scientists, biologists cannot explain how life got it's start. Abiogenesis has been proven impossible by every test science has been able to devise or try. You cannot run a race if you cannot start it. As far as I am concerned Evolution is a hypothesis at best, a hopeful wish more realistically

I find it interesting that you are so worried about NoT being a Christian. GOD has told us that satan's followers would act just as you are doing. The antibiotics that you speak of were created by Christians if memory serves me. Study these scriptures and see what you think. To become a Christian:
HEAR - Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
BELIEVE - To the Prison guard in Acts 16:31 Paul and Silas said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household."
REPENT - Acts 17:30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent.
CONFESS CHRIST - Matthew 10:32 "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.
BE BAPTIZED - Mark 16:16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
CONTINUE TO BE FAITHFUL - Revelation 2:10b Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
Send me a note if you have questions. I am anxious to hear from you. Have a Great day.

Antibiotics are very effective against disease -- and that is not a theory.
Why are you comparing antiobiotics with evolution? No offense, but you really need to work on your analogies. Comparing antiobiotics to evolution is not an example of a good analogy.
You're not even comparing apples to oranges here. You're comparing two things that are way more different from each other.

Jeanmaried RDH:
You're on here a lot, attempting to properly explain yourself, with little to no avail.
Right now, I would like to know what it is you mean when you say "missing link". Explain it thoroughly.
Also, I would like for you to list all of the sources you've gathered this information about evolution.
Citrus Punch: What is your definition of "theory"? Explain it thoroughly. Now, look it up in the Webster's and give all of it's definitions. Explain it thoroughly.
I agree that your analogies are from here to China--way off, as I also agree that you really need to hit the books, kiddo.

Your analogy is a poor one for as you say the Bible never said anything about it. The Bible does however say something about how the world was created.
