chances are good that you do not have breast cancer. i had a huge lump which was breast cancer and it did NOT hurt one bit. talk to your mom. she will do the right thing for you. trust her.

Surgery is not the only option for treating breast cancer. Another thing to consider is that it is VERY unusual for someone your age to develop breast cancer. It is, however, quite common for one your age to see hers develop at different rates. I've had young ladies in my examining room who had one twice the size of the other. As they grew older, things evened out.
There are several conditions that can appear as "lumps" in one's breasts, but again, those are rare in someone your age. And yes, yours will be exquisitely sensitive as you grow - sometimes it'll be almost more than you can stand to put on a bra. That's just part of growing up, and yes, were I a girl, I wouldn't think it was fair, either.
Don't be afraid to talk to your mother about how you're feeling, or a trusted aunt, or even your grandma. I suspect you'll be relieved to find out that these people, who are so much a part of your life, have had similar sensations as they grew up.
It's really a good idea to have a physical exam by a doctor once in awhile. They can most often catch a potential problem even before you're aware of it, and in most such cases, correct the problem in simple, non-surgical ways.
You might be a bit uncomfortable with a male doctor, but even a lady nurse with the proper assessment skills can conduct a physical exam. When your mom makes an appointment with the doctor for you, ask her to ask to have a female do your physical if at all possible. Us guys should have no problem with that; we're committed to your welfare, after all.
Don't worry so; odds are you're fine and just experiencing some of the temporary downside of early adolescence. Good luck!

First of all, it's normal to be scared. Secondly, you must see a doctor if you have changes in your breast or breasts. Breast cancer is a very treatable disease if you catch it early so the sooner you see a doctor the better. If you were to have breast cancer, and you did nothing about it, you could die from it.
Most important......there are other things that this could be besides breast cancer.....and from the symptoms you have listed, it probably is not breast cancer. Talk to your folks and have a check up with your family doctor. You will feel much better. Best of luck to you.

I'm not trying to be a smarty pants, but if it hurts, its not cancer. Because cancer doesn't hurt you like normal things do. I have a very lumpy breast and there are bumps in it all the time. It may be just that your breast are growing. You are young and they grow till in your late teens. And being scared to talk to your parents, well you shouldn't be. They are only looking out for you. Take your mom aside and talk to her. And let her know that your scared to talk and operations. I'm sure she will understand. Let her know that you don't want a bunch of bull when you do. Just be honest with her. OK? It does help.
Good Luck!

It's very unlikely that you have breast cancer. The chances of getting it at your age are really minute. But if you're getting pain, and it's puffy, etc, you just have to get some help and advise. OK, so you tell me....what's worse, getting help, and then not having to worry about it, and if there a problem it can be fixed, or not getting help, and if it just did happen to be cancer, you really would go through pain and could perhaps die. If you keep thinking about it all the time, you'll imagine it the situation being much, much worse than it is. Please, please, please, just go to an adult you trust, even a teacher. Or you can go to your Doctor's office for advise - even call them. I promise you'll get help, and you won't have to worry about it any more.

Good luck! Nigel. nigel.dixon@gmail.com

don't be an idiot!!!!! until you are an adult, allow your parent to care for you. At your age, it is extremely unlikely to be cancer.... Have your parents take you to a doc. That will end your worries, and you can get on with your life.....
