the smell of some fish is nasty.. i only like shrimps, crayfish and tunny.

Only a total nutbar would NOT like fish. Fish is great! And tastes oh-so-good! So, in order to not like fish, something has to be wrong deep in your psychology.
Perhaps you had a traumatic run-in with a fish when you were little. Did a fish bite you when you tried to play its toys? Did your momma punish you when you were bad by smacking you upside the head with a fish ?
All these things are known to cause an intense dislike of fish.

The first answer is very rude! Honestly, there's no need to get personal about this. My boyfriend says that the reason I hate fish or any seafood is because my instincts tell me it is not good for me. There may be something in fish or seafood that wouldn't agree with me if I was eating it so I developed a repulsion just to make sure I won't eat it. Animals, who don't really know what type of food is good for them go by instinct (taste and smell) and if they find it so repulsive they don't eat it as it could potentially kill them. Fish won't kill you, I'm sure but if you don't like it then you shouldn't force it. There are so many other types of food that are so delicious. If you want to jump on the health food bandwagon then I suggest you eat some linseeds sprinkled over salad and that way you will get your Omega 3,6,9 and 12 without having to eat fish.

I'm not a huge fan of fish either (among other things!) however I am taking my husband to a seafood restaurant for his birthday. I've looked at the menu and seen there are no non-fish options so will have to hope that the one dish I'm likely to enjoy is on the menu!

Real fresh fish does not smell. If a fish smells at the store it is not fresh. Eating fish at least twice a week if good for your health and heart.

You proably can't get over the smell!!! Not all fish has a fishy smell or a fishy taste!!! Some time you need to try either fresh grouper(freshest if your in Florida!) Or even try Halibut!!! (It actually tastes like chicken!!!)

I hate the smell of dead fish.
I once had a date with a girly who ordered the salmon. It was a tough decision but i had to cut short the date....couldn't put up with that smell !!
I think she was a tad confused
and his music was rubbish

My brother hates the taste and the smell of fish. I HATE the taste and the smell of eggs....weird huh. Silly, we all have our dislikes.

HEY EVERY ONE IS DISSING FISH, I LOVE FISH. They are very claming, just watching them swim is great. I only like Tetra's really.

Everyones taste is different.I hate sultanas ,prunes ,dates,raisins currants but I don't know why.They make me want to heave!----I love fish
