Hypocalcemia may develop from the hyperphosphatemia or as result of calcium deposition in the damaged muscles.

first u have to understand what both terms man. hypocalcemia is low blood calcium and rhabdomyolysis is destruction of muscles in the body. these lysed cell might trap blood calcium, leading to dystrophic calcification.
