He hasnt even got the guts to say sorry to the soldiers wife.

If the american military has cleared him of any wrong doing, then what has he got to be afraid of?

At least an apology might go someway towards helping the situation. But oh no .... too gutless to come forward. People go on about how brave the men in the military are. Brave is coming forward to face the woman you have just widowed. The pilot makes me sick. Whether its his fault or not, come forward and be a man. Till then, I wouldnt piss on him if he was on fire.

Aw, Dave, more of your pandering for ideology? And why should he appologize anyway?

Lest we all forget:
1) the pilots repeatedly asked the forward air controller (who was british) about the possible presense of friendlies in their kill zone, and the british forward air controller informed that there were no coalition forces there.
2) The British failed to file their mission plans jointly. Even their own forward air controller didn't know about their presense.
3) The British have yet to update and modernize their IFF systems, making it difficult to ID their equipment, especially when they wander into kill zones without telling people.
4) The british forward air controller was the one who didn't respond to the cease fire radio call, effectively allowing the second attack run to occur.

Dave, get your facts straight, you hurt your credibility when you post garbage like this. If anyone should be required to appologize, it should be the british air controller and the british mission control that failed to track their own forces into a kill zone.

I don't see what purpose all this public wailing and moaning accomplishes, nor what an apology accomplishes.

It's all just rubbish - tabloid emotional rubbish.
