i wake up in the morning..get ready and all that...but as time passess i just dont feel like going out...i feel like it is impossible for me to do that...i am really suffering due to this...what the hell is wrong?why is this happening to me..cant live any longer like that my life is useless. :-(

for one thing, nobody's life is useless. You do have a purpose in life. We may not know what it is but we do.
Try just taking one step at a time. Don't think about the outside world while your getting ready. Think about the happy things you can do outside. I'm sure you have some. Sit on the porch for awhile before going any further. Then walk down the sidewalk as far as you can. Then turn around and go back home. And sit on the porch again.
The problem I believe is depression. And it is hard to deal with by yourself. If you have family members that are close to you, see if they can help. If not, then you should see a professional before this gets any worse.
Be strong, and stand up for yourself and say " I can do this and I'm not useless" Keep repeating this to yourself every morning when you get up and dressed. Ok?

Sounds like you may have a case of the winter blues. I get this alot. You are off to a good start by getting ready to go out in the am so try to do just one thing like take a walk, get the newspaper, make a lunch date with a friend, etc. If this doesn't work, talk to you doctor. There are meds out there that will help you get over the hump. (some of them can be purchased at Wal-Mart for $4/month). Sunshine, human contact, better living through chemistry. Life is too short to spend days feeling crummy. Hang in there friend, spring is coming!

Find purpose and meaning in your life. Why do you get up in the morning? Do you have a job? If so, do you like that job? Are you going to school? Find stuff you like to do. Maybe you go through the day doing things you HAVE to do, even though you don't WANT to do. But that's the way life is. You need to make sure you take time to do things you want to do, to enjoy your day. If not, you get burned out, and loose all motivation. Maybe it would help you if you learned about God, and your purpose in life. I wish you the best of luck, and hope you can find whatever it is you are looking for.

Two possible answers and they can be related -
Agoraphobia - I do not want to leave the safety of my home (I suffer this). You get medical treatment (therapy) and help with relaxation exercises so you can go out (I can go to the store now)
Depression - You sound just down, depression can only be diagnosed by a psychiatrist, and they have some wonderful medications now days that help quite a bit (I also take this)

Wow, I thought I was the only one living that had that problem!I am the same way. I am a recovering drug addict and alcoholic so I have a counseler to talk to but it does'nt help. And I am about to lose him because I dont keep my appts.I dont keep drs.appts.Well, really,I dont keep any appts,I am always calling to reschedual (I know I spelt that wrong) I just want to stay in this house. My daughter asked me one day " Mom, what do you look forward to in life?Because she knows I never go anywhere.I told her nothing.That was terrible,to tell my daughter I had no life.I dont feel depressed so I dont think it is that. Hi there, having suffered in the past myself, you certainly sound as though you are depressed, there must be reasons behind your depression. Try to solve the problems you can see in your life, this will help and if that's not possible you really should see a doctor.

Honey, maybe you are depressed. Go see a doctor. I used to be tired all the time and feel like that. I found out I was depressed, they put me on something and I feel SO MUCH better!

I hate going out myself but when it come to going to work or going for classes i don't feel bad about it but when it come to going out and having fun i really hate it i just like staying at home watching tele and be with my daughter.

you could have something physically wrong with you that is zapping your energy. it sounds like your really depressed though. you may need some therapy and or medication.
