How long have you two been dating? Apparently long enough for him to feel comfortable enough to take you somewhere provocative to find swimsuits.
Women are obsessed about their bodies. Men, aren't nearly as picky as women are. It can be hard to override the feelings that society implants in us, about how we have too much fat here, or not enough of it there.
If he wants to see you undress, then most likely he is very attracted to you. Tell him why you are nervous, especially if it is the first relationship you have been in where this has happened. Then start working on feeling beautiful that he wants to see you, instead of nervous and apprenhensive.
Men love seeing women undress. They are very visual, and enjoy that kind of thing.
But only go where you are comfortable. If he's devoted to you and loves you, he'll let you take your time getting used to being beautiful while undressing. And he may be eager to help you overcome these boundaries too, once he understands what's going on.

good question. i used to work there and it never occurred to me until now that the mannequins [aka forms] have more clothes on than the people in the pictures. LOL. anyway, the answer is simple: sex sells... a lot. seriously, i think it's because it attracts a lot of attention and gets people in their store, regardless of what the model has on... or doesn't have on i should say.
