I'm confused. (This is not unusual for me.)

Is this for a class assignment? A new job? Picking up girls in a bar? Talking to your new psychiatrist? Your first AA meeting?

Each venue would require a different approach and different details in your speech.

Assuming that its for a speech as a class assignment, I suppose that your outline is OK. But I'd emphasize my experiences and how I reacted to them, rather than "I collect stamps and like to listen to rap music." kind of stuff.

More in the "Collecting stamps gives me the opportunity to explore different aspects of history and geography. For example, "Why was SPLATT so important that the Post Office thought that he deserved to be honored by putting his handsome face on their new 'Giants of Discovery' series of stamps?" kind of thing.
