I got my girlfriend pregnant and I did not want the child, she did and she was over the moon it was the happiest time in her life.
One month ago she suffered a miscarriage which has devastated her, she is depressed and wont ven get out of bed or talk. but to make matters worse I went to a party at my friends house, when I walked through the door I shouted to everyone .... "the babies dead no more responsibility LETS ALL HAVE A DRINK ON ME" and to my horro she had heard everything as she was already at the party crying to her friends in the kitchen.
what should I do, I need help please. ?

thats the most horrible thing i have ever heard. Wow. You need to be there for your girlfriend...not poke fun at her for what happened....that was really terrible, and you should be ashamed of yourself....Respect your girlfriend, dont damage her emotionally even more, for crying out loud!!
You need to apologize....and be more supportive...
and if you didnt want a baby to begin with...try keeping it in your pants.

If you actually do care - which is questionable - then I suggest the following...
1. apologize profusely
2. listen to her (and I truly mean listen) and let her share whatever is on her mind - no matter how bad you might feel to have her tell you how she feels about what you said (it's important for her to feel as though she can talk to you - again if you truly want this to work - you must be willing to listen whenever she wants to talk about it)
3. assure her that you understand that what you said was immature and insensitive. explain that you were scared and acted like a child. further assure her that you would love to one day have children with her, but that at this time in your lives you couldn't possibly give her or the baby what they need (in case this isn't already obvious to her based on your actions) - and she deserves to have a family when the time is right, (which isn't now)
4. while what you said was really wrong, I think you also need to look at the fact that your girlfriend was over the moon about having a baby - based on what you've written, I'd guess you guys are rather young and not married - so....why is she 'over the moon' happy? she has her own issues too (but I'm not tell you this so you can harp on her and be a ja)
5. if you don't want a child - double up on birth control!!!!! always, and I do mean always - use two methods!

oh my goodness!!! first of all i would be pissed off at the fact that your buddies would say such a rude thing and disrespect your girl like that. what are you thinking? even if you didn't want a child you still helped make the baby!! that was your kid to, and she had a miscarriage.. your girl sounds really caring and of course its going to be hard on her.. plus everything her body went through... and she has hormones and emotions right now that you don't.. you sound kinds like a bad boyfriend... and selfish.. step up to the plate and be a man about this or tell your girl that she can do better than you, what you should do.. be there for her... be on her side about this.. so something nice to her.... and let her see that you know your friends were wayyyyyyyyyy out of place to say what they said.. i don't even think i would chill with them boys anymore... WOW

Sicko! You don't deserve help!
I had a miscarriage last week and luckily for me my bf wanted the baby as much as I did. If he had done what you did I would have been totally devestated, probably to the point of never talking to him again!

That is one of the most hurtful things I have ever heard. I too have just had a miscarriage after an unplanned pregnancy and I am devastated. How could you! What you have done is unforgiveable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your girlfriend doesn't deserve this and is in my thoughts...

Run fast and hard because someone is going to get pissed at you besides the girl friend, and when they come after you it will not be nice. Leave the girl alone and find a sheep to mess around with because your not man enough to be with a human.
Yeah you need help, talk to a someone who is man enough to admit they made a mistake. Your girl friend made one in letting you get near her. Now leave her alone. Find a doctor that will help you, you need it.

im sorry for your gf. she has lost her baby that she wanted so much and she has an idiot of a bf. sorry but what you did is unforgivable if it was me i dont no if i could forgive you. anyway you need to get her to a doctor so they can treat her and btw you saying that was so hurtful to her it probally seems like you were glad the baby died and just remember she already had a bond with that child and she is greiving.

WAT A HORRIBLE THING TO DO! If you don't want a baby,then dont do it. If u have it, be a man and take your responsibility. Don't act as a spoil brat.
Seek her forgiveness for your 'brutal comments'. Support and comfort her thru this emotion struggle. Good Luck.
