I found suspicious txt messages on my girlfriends phone from a lad.She was also spending alot of time in his flat which made me really worried. She told me he was just a mate but one of the msgs was "I cant cope with you an all this (my name) stuff. I really want u etc". The reply to this msg was deleted.
The nxt week I was out in a club & I seen the guy i confronted him, and he swore down on his familys life that my gf told him that she was single.
Later that night when i was drunk i ended up kissing a girl, obviously being seen by the above party. I regretted what i did and the following day nothing came of it.
I thought it was better to keep quiet about my mistake and when i spoke to my gf she said she never told him she was single.
Obviously i had to trust my girlfriend at this point but i didnt know what to do about my reaction, as i acted on anger and i was already pretty drunk.
3 months later, it has surfaced and she has left me and said she wants nothing to do with me.

No, you werent wrong fessing up, but two wrongs do NOT make a right...you shouldnt have kissed the other girl...but she shouldnt have been talking to another guy, the way she was, while she was with you.
You should have confronted her about it when you found the text messages and asked her why she was messing around with some other guys head...
Thats the best advice i can give, love...

You weren't wrong to own up to what you did. I'm thinking your girlfriend was out cheating on you behind your back. She just hasn't admitted doing so and more than likely never will.
You are better off without that woman in your life. Time to move on and find a really nice woman who will remain faithful. If she was in that guys apartment she more than likely was having some sexual type activity going. Women are like this quite often.

Too much of suspicion makes the girls life miserable. Just reading messages should not make u suspicious. If u love the girl, trust her. If not, it is best that she leave u, alone and still suspicious.

She feels bad about what she did and I know this because she totally over-reacted to what you did. She is waiting for you to beg for her forgiveness. Don't make that mistake as she is trying to train you to do her bidding, just like you would a dog. You are too good for her!

I think so. I think the payback was kind of childish. Next time you shouldnt react so fast. It could have been the guy just playing on her phone just acting silly.

Sounds like you deserve better - but it's good to look back and make sure you were treating her right too, and that she didn't just dump you because she's like that.

Wake up and smell the coffee dude. Maybe their is still time to hook up with the other broad you were swapping spit with. The dirtbag girlfriend was getting drilled by the other dude and you know it.

I don't think she was worthy of your trust anyway. Sounds like she was doing more than just kissing her text buddy. Let her go.
