I said to my girlfriend where she wanted to go for Valentines Day. She said which restaurant, and I sent her a text saying what time she wanted. She sent a text back saying the time, and so I rang the restaurant to book a table. She then tells me today that she rang the restaurant to check that I had booked the table. Don't like that!
Is that normal, or have I overreacted by saying that surely she could have trusted me to book a table.

It's a bit strange... but she's probably just very excited. I definately wouldn't call the restaurant, but everyone's different. Anyway, you two have fun, and don't forget to buy her a nice boquet of roses, she'll love it :)

That would burn me too, but cut her slack this time. What I would look for is if she's done this before, or see if she does it again in the future. The thing is, if this is a pattern of behavior it would tell you something. It would bring to my mind whether or not she trusts you to do something, or maybe a compulsion problem. You get the idea of what I'm saying I'm sure. But look to see if it happens more, or if it has happened in the past.

well i would have said that she just did it becuz she wants to make sure you didnt forget, or that she didnt say anything specific becuz she wanted you to make her feel special, even though she really had a place and time in mind. But i think that she doesnt feel that you are mature enuff to handle anything on your own, or she's use to just handling everything herself.
U are entitled to b angry and frustrated, but just hear her out, so you can kno whether or not to expect this again

no its not wrong girls usually just do that kinda thing just because they are that way yes i believe she trust you she just wanted to be sure herself.
