My legs are aching in the evenings(knees) By morning I am back to normalcy. I do walk, but not so much as to get leg pain. I am nearing 40 and not very hefty.

You are wearing uncomfortable shoes. Whatever the reason that you had to walk so much, (a nurse? a police woman? going to work to catch a bus?) try wearing comfortable sneakers that fit the arch of your foot and supports the ball of your foot. There should be wriggle room but not too loose.

Try the podiatrist and get a custom fit shoes. It is expensive but it is well worth it. It is the only way to get rid of this problem.

I will tell you why this happens. Your feet is going through trauma because the shoes don't fit right. You are lucky that during night, when you are not wearing any shoes, it mends. This will not last very long. You are 40. This will lead to chronic condition of ache and can lead to other problems as you age. By about 45 you will have major problems.

Happy feet is happy mind.

Take care of the shoe-fitting right away.
