And something else:
Is it possible for someone to have both religions? I mean both are Christians and believe in the same God anyway..

Yes.

Any baptized Christian can join the Catholic Church through the process of being received into full communion.

73,684 adults were received into full communion with the Catholic Church in 2006. And that's just in the U.S.

I don't know about being a dual member.

With love in Christ.

There is no real differance between the two! They are not two seperate religions as you put it but they are apart of the ONE CHRISTIAN Religion!
I was brought up in The Salvation Army's church but I attend other Christian churches.
Its just that they do things slightly differant, but they still belive in Jesus & God.
You saying that by Being Catholic is a differant religion to being Christian Orthodox, is like saying that a Fiat Punto & a BMW A Class are not cars when actually they are, they migh have a differant name and a differant body shape but they are built exactly the same having 4 seats, 4 wheals & an engine with a gear box that make them move. The same is with these two churches.

By the way Catholic is a latin word that means World Wide! So if you go to a Catholic church you goto a World Wide Church.

Some Orthodox churches are in communion with Rome, this means they have not broken away, best to check. Catholic means universal.

Their doctrines and rituals are very similar. Maybe you can attend mass in both Churches and receive communion. Check with them.
