Me and my family lived in Beijing for 2 and half years. I found China to be a wonderful place and the people so incredibly friendly and welcoming. Also, it has the best food in the world.
China has many problems to overcome though. Not the least of which is permitting economic change to change politics, as well as controlling the great environmental problems that exist in China.

basically, i think china is a country where there are many places waiting for ppl to explore. chinese people are ok. except for some abnormal exceptions.
as for SSIS, i have no idea where is that and what type of school it is.

China and its people is like a giant still awakening.....
You find many of the older folks nice, traditional and deeply ingrained with their culture. Many of the younger working class are decent folks too....on the other hand there are many who had their first taste of success are are arrogant, rude....you find them when they are travelling overseas....
And China is a great country, scenic, rich with history and diverse cultures.

great food; and their stereotype is short. lol. so far, i haven't met any that dispell this stereotype XD awesome food though, really. Also, their culture and art is BEAUTIFUL i love seeing art, and the architecture of the buildings there!
