This is a question many has asked - but cannot be answered by others.
You have to find the meaning for yourself.
I can tell you that in my opinion life is to experience, learn, feel etc. But in the end it's all a test.
The choices you make. the life you lead, the difference you make and the kind of person you are - is the result of the test. After you leave this life you are judged on it and it will than be decided what will happen to you for all eternity.
The point - what you do now you will have to life with for all eternity in the afterlife - choose well!

The utmost purpose of living is to understand what life is and be free from all Sufferings!
Do you know that there are the 4 Noble Truths in life? And there is a task for each of the Truth?
(1) Life is a suffering. Realize it!
(2) Cause of that Suffering is Craving. Eliminate it!
(3) By eliminating its cause, this suffering can be ended for ever. Experience it!
(4) There is an 8 fold path for that. Follow it!

Tearing waves apart with your surfboard. To me, doing THE thing You(and you only) really enjoy is the point of living. This is not egotistic to me because when you are happy you want to help others, and love them too. When you do the thing you love(if you havent found out what it is, search for it), you are in catharsis with something outside of you. You feel connected to 'all that is'. And you can't tell the difference between you and everything else...there is only the movement, or the sound, or the event. This, is true meditation. And enlightenment.

The point of living is to realise God in this life itself. Also
You must have to understand the fact that
God is present in our heart. This can be realised in meditation. Further we are the creation of our own destiny. As per Hindu sacred religion, we carry all good and bad deeds life after life. There is no end unless we pray for unification of self with the divineliness.
Hence there is always a possible way to complete mergence with God in this life by a simple and wonderful meditation

we were not supposed to live inthis ugly boring life. But it was Man's choice when he decided to betray God & move from Paradise. So we brought ouyrselves downhere. However God had a plan for us to get back to where we were. He let His son carry the death penalty once & for all. Offering us a chance to live an eternal life. But each one of us has to endure his existence in this earth till the day comes & we are back to our glorious state. God set aplan for each one of us to accomplish in this earth before we got home. By this we are not bored & by this we find a meaning to live. Try to find out why you are here & what is needed from you & you will find the purpose

The point of living lies in the mystery of not knowing why but just living life to the glory of God and man.

sometimes i wonder this question myself. We gotta go to school, work hard to get good grades, then work hard to graduate from uni, then work hard to get a job. Then we just die.
But there are soo many good things in life. Love is important, having fun is important. Work is just one part of life and we need it so we can have a balanced life.
The point of living is to prove to ourselves and others around us that we are capable of taking the right paths in life.

You assume that living needs to have a "point". It doesn't. But we ARE alive, and being alive seems pretty good to me - so I make my own point for it.
