Yes. The main ingredient needed for children in milk is calcium. All milks have the same amounts of calcium. The difference lies in that whole milk has fats. At the age of two, a child normally eats all kinds of food and gets nutrients for growing from there. So the milk is needed just for calcium for bones and teeth. So dont worry as the amount of calcium contained in semi or skimmed milk is the same as in whole milk.
If you have any doubts you can compare the nutrients table usually printed at the back of the milk containers.
Hope this helps you.

Yes. Before the age of 1 yr, they can't have other than formula or breast milk. From 1yr on full fat milk is recommended for growth if the child is not dairy allergic or lactose intolerant. But, they can also have semi or fully skimmed from then on too.

Try pediasure, or adding nesquick or ovaltine to the milk for more added calories. Also, since she's been sick for more than 3 days have her seen by the doctor. It may be more than a cold. At 2 she should be on 2% milk anyway, not semi skimmed. She still needs the fats from the milk for proper brain development.

Yes, he/she can but at that age its recommended that he or she gets regular milk without any reduced fat. At that age, and not like us adults, they need the fat and they use it effectively so if thats the reason you want to try skimmed milk youre not doing the kid a favor. If you do so anyways you should monitor his firsts feedings to make sure he.she doesnt get any reactions from the milk. If youre doing it because of reflux or digestive problems you should take him to a pediatric gastroenteologist. I feed my first child regular milk but my second child got reflux because of the lactose and now takes lactose free milk but it still has all the needed fat in the milk. Kids need this fat.

A two year old can have semi-skimmed milk, but they recommend whole milk until they are six or seven. Children need fat to help their brains grow and milk is one good source.

Follow the 80/20 rule, which means eating clean 80 percent of times and indulging a little 20 percent of times.

It would have no harmful effects as their stomach can handle it at that age, but I have read and been advised by my family doctor that whole cows milk contains a "special" fat that is crucial for growth and development.
