You should cut the split ends. Use lots of conditioner, don't wash everyday.

Get a haircut first to get rid of those split ends. Oh and when you iron, use a protective serum made especially for those who use the straightening iron so much. Try Loreal
For other hair syle ideas, I like loose waves or curls which you can do with a curling iron. It just takes some practice, but I love how different it makes me look. You can put up your hair in a bun, in a half pony tail, headband/bandana, change the parting of your hair or you could simply hold your bangs with a nice clip. Little things you do with your hair can totally make you look different, you just have to get the right accessories for you.

The only realistic way to eliminate split ends is by cutting it (i dont want to lie to you)! so you should get a trim every 6 weeks! and you can still straighten it by blow dryer though not a straighten iron (because that adds up the split ends)

use hair mose (for me hair mose is magic) you can make your hair wavy and it looks sexy and chic! or just put your whole hair up in a hair clip and have some of your bangs on the side of your face (like the Jennifer Aniston style) its really elegant!

good luck!

so the only real solution to split ends is getting them cut off. to eliminate getting them always use a serum or shine spray to protect your hair from the heat of the flat iron. for a new look try different ways of putting your hair up like bumping it up in the front and putting in a pony tail then curl your pony all in the same direction to give you a 50's inspired pony or back comb your crown and smooth then gather it all at your nape(back neck) and roll it all over to one side and pin it for a easy but hip side pony!!

Hello there, I'm a hairdresser, best bet is to have regular trims to keep split ends under control. straightening is one of the biggest causes.. your hair needs to retain the moisture to keep it healthy, by constantly straightening it drys out the natural oils leaving your hair brittle and prone to breakage... always use a good leave in serum to minimize scorching..

get a trim. protect your hair when you straighten it. use leave in conditioner and comb it through your hair before you blow dry and straighten. try headbands they go with anything right now. or even pins. if you get the right cut you wouldnt have to worry as bad about styling it because the style is in the cut.

most of the chemicals that we are using in our hair are harmfull...cut your hair to get off on split ends and start using natural products for your hair treatment.

the only thing you can do for your split ends is to cut it .. then when you're straightening your hair use first a moisturising cream with silicon...
