L1 is neither a tourist not a 'specialized knowledge worker' as you seem to be using it - it is for the international transfer of someone who already works for the company and will be employed by a branch, parent, affiliate, or subsidiary of that same employer in the U.S. in a managerial, executive, or specialized knowledge capacity. Legitimate L1s have no difficulty proving that they are entitled to the visa. If you have to wonder how to prove your abilities, you might not be.

you have a degree or verifiable work experience as a health care professional or some kind of teacher or engineer. Something useful and needed that would make them want you to come here and work. Depends what country you are trying to get in to.

Solicited means that you have to have a job already offered to you in your specialized field.

I thought L1 was a tourist visa and didn't need that just proof of money to return home. if it's a work or residence visa you need a job before you come. Or boatloads of money to buy property.
