If you are about 26 years old and you see someone who you like that is about 38 or say 40 years old is that a possible relationship—as in boyfriend/girlfriend? Maybe this is simply an adult underage and overage connection?

I think it's fine, as long as you are both on a level playing field and one person isn't trying to take advantage of the other or forcing them into anything they're uncomfortabe with. Age doesn't really matter as long as both parties are adults.

I'm 32 and he's 47, we have 9 kids between us, but none together. We have been together for almost 4 years. He loves me more and is more affectionate towards me now than 2 years ago. The big thing is communication, you have got to get over the age difference and there will be issues, just hang on tight and remember to talk.

yes-for the past 10 yrs., my last 3 girlfriends were 40-45 yrs old, maybe the older ones like me.(I'm 36)

The only trouble with age difference is when you get married the one gets older and may even pass away before the other. But when it comes to dating i guess it doent really make a difference

it perfectly ok. im 21 and i was talking to a 39 yr old. we went out and did all kinds of stuff just like bf/gf. if its meant to be then it will happen. follow your wishes not what some of these people on here say. i say go for it! have fun!!!

It's not impossible but let's just say..it's very difficult and frankly, not accepted as a norm ( especially if the male is the younger one )
