I'm no vet, but i think the ear drop medication may have been too strong for him and effected the balace mechanism behind the ear. Lets hope the drug wears off soon and he feels better.

this time make sure the vet gives you something less potent for your puppy.

hi maybe i can help, ive had a few dogs thats had ear infections in the past, sometimes things going into the inner ear cannal can cause them to loose their balance, it really doesnt sound serious or your vet would have had the dog straight in, most dogs dont like anything in their ears, is he also rubbing his head along the carpet as if it is irritating him, id give him another 3/4 days before taking him back to the vet, are you rubbing the ear for a while when you put the drops in ? i wouldnt worry about this, and try continuing with the ear drops as long as you can. hope this helps you. jane. uk

hi ya
poor puppy that must be scary for you!!
I think you have done the right thing by taking him to the vets it shows that you practise responsible dog ownership.
By the sounds of it he has an inner ear infection which has affected his balance.
As the vet has done a lot i think you should encourage him to stay still and try and make him comfortable instead of him going to his bowl take the bowl to him.
Wait for another day or two and if no improvement take him to the vets again.
Hope your dog feels better soon
Good luck

I think you need a second opinion...take him to an alternative vet,
with all ear drops/steroids info and see if there is anything else wrong with him.
wish the little perisher well from me! x

Observe Hiya for another 24 hours and if there is still no improvement, take him to another vet. for a second opinion.
All my best to you and Hiya.

you need to ask the vet as the reaction should have stopped by now, it maybe still the infection, but get him back to the vet and get some answers.
Good luck

Sounds like he maybe has an inner ear infection - that would srew up his balence a lot. If so he would need oral antibiotics.

Definitely, without a doubt, and by all means you should be taking and using ONLY the advise of the Dogs' Veterinarian. Doesn't that make sense?
