You have to take into account the size of TV you are looking for, as I don't think you can get a plasma TV smaller than 42 inches. You also have to take into account where the TV will be placed. Plasma screens have a problem with glare, and LCD has a brighter picture that is better for your average living room viewing. Plus, they are generally cheaper.

If there is no problem of money then it is best to buy a plasma tv than that of a LCD TV.

it depends upon ur interior, plasma uses gas for display the picture on the screen while lcd do not. its better to purchase lcd tv then plasma.

LCD is better cause plasma is prone to breaking and lcd has much better quality

LCD. Longevity of these screens has been proven to be slightly better than plasma.

LCD is the way to go. Plasma pixels burn out quite commonly because they get so hot.

both have very good quality, but lcd works out cheaper
i'd say LCD
