Yes it is. A child that is show to be irresponsible in handling money, or property or disregard for other siblings and family members.

If a child is a kid or teen, that also is good reason to leave them out of a will, and actually write up a separate last orders specified to them.

I am sure that at times it is acceptable
if you are concerned that what you leave them will be used for harm ( such as drugs etc )
or if they have been out of your life for a time for whatever reason
i doubt that any parent would write a child out of a will without good reason

Dear Friend,

What has your child done that is so bad?

Remember the teaching from the Bible

Matthew 6:14-15
14For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

You should forgive your child their sin, but also remember the lord commanded us to love our neighbor as ourselves, so as a previous contributor said, if you think your gift will be misused you may have to meditate on it for a while.

Why not pray for the lords guidance, he will answer your prayer?

depends on the reason.

my parents wrote my half brother out of the will because he told tham that he would challenge anything that they gave me because a Pagan did not deserve anything. he also told them that he would challenge anything left to the other 2 kids (both half brothers of mine) because they are Athiest, and they do not deserve to gain anything in life.

so my father (a Protestent) decided that a Southern Baptist did not deserve anything. especially one that is as greedy as he is.

a few years ( and a head injury) later. he came to his senses and dad wrote him back in at his fair 1/4 share.
