My girlfriend is from out of town and lives two hours away from me. She has her own car and travels some distance to see me. She has seen me and my family many times. There is a problem now—she wants me to go over there where she lives to see her. I have never been there before. I don’t even know her friends or family. Nor do I know where she lives. I have this strange feeling if I go that I may be stepping into a setup or be going into a hostile situation. What makes this worst is that one of my close friends told me he too had the same feeling. So since he had that feeling also I didn’t want to take a change so I turned down going over there and my girlfriend is getting upset. How do you handle this strange feeling of undetermined predicament?

I know that the human intuition plays a big part in our personal safety, but are there any CONCRETE evidence that danger awaits you when you visit her? Do you have any basis for feeling how you do(besides your intuition and your friend's)? How often have your intuition been proven right?
I dont think your gf is asking for too much by requesting that you visit her and her family. IT could just be anxiety on your part, since this is going to be your first time to meet her family.
If you really do have reasons to be scared, then maybe you should try going with someone? Your friend, perhaps. Have a mobile phone on you, give pple at home your number and your girlfriend's, make them aware of your intentions to travel, how long you will be gone for, etc...
You should also try talking to your girlfriend and asking questions about her family and friends, just to make them a bit familiar to you, so that when you eventually meet them, they wont be like total strangers to you

Y r u with her if u dont trust her,she can do any thing even with yo family present,stop being silly & off u go see her,or by the way that close frend is actually making moves on her & will be off to visit her immediatly his invited,u such a loser!

its bad, how can she be coming to your place always and you will not want to see her in her place. nothing will happen to you. afterall you are suppose to visit her regularly.
