How long does it take for me to get the state taxes? i already know how much it is. But i did it thru H&R Block.. Does it take months? like 6 months?

I did it electronicaly like i said. H&R Block did it for my husband and i. and all she said was "Its going to take forever" I have no idea how long and i wont be calling that woman because she mislead alot of other information. I live in germany on a army post.
All i know is i am getting back $600.

California is pretty quick in processing returns. Even if you filed a paper return, and requested a check to be mailed to you, it would take only 4 weeks.

I do my CA State taxes myself, and get a refund (if owed) within two or three weeks of sending in the tax return.

You should get your tax refund in 2 -3 weeks. Did you get any other notifications from state board ? One chance is that you return might have been flagged for revirew..
