What god???Seriously! There are many of the and they all claim to be the true one. I can not chose just on statistics since there are other parameters involved. The Christian god has considerably fewer followers than Allah does. On the other hand it is older. But then Yahweh is older than both. Some of the Asian gods are at least 4000 years old and are still around. So what god ?What truth?

Imagine when a small child cries for his mother or father who is there somewhere around him.. the parents cannot stop themselves from being close to their beloved child.. Hey Cheers.. God is present everywhere, he knows about us, every time seconds of us, he is always there to answer and help..
Father\Mother in the world we see, do not fully know wat their child needs when he cries.. but our only caretaker God who always knows wats right and wats wrong for us is always standing at the platform of our heart so that one day when we have a clean slate heart by rolling tears of love of God.. he will give us the unlimited capacity of Loving & Iternal Happiness..and we will be able to absorb the same in our Clean State Heart only.. and tat will take us above the clutches of time.. in a unlimted world ..
But just for one damn reason we are away.. 1 simple reason.. if we accept God as our father or even our mother or our only Relative in reality.. and then cry with heartful tears like the child did.. .. Exzactly its the Bhaktiyog tats the only path to reach God.. and has got the most practicle experience of reaching God.

according to some people religion is the cover of the fruit and it must be thrown away,then the fruit will be eaten.Trere are ways like pranic healing raiking and concentration which people think are the ways to god.but i feel it is none of these because if spirituality is through concentration , then love is the ultimate in concentration.sri budda through meditation and great prayer and spirituality only became enlightened.so spirituality forms religion and religion cannot be thrown for god is not concentration or the filling of nature alone ,but god is love,and love alone.divine love eternal love pure love blind and deaf with love .love is unconditional.we have heard a tooth for a tooth and an eye for an eye ,but i say if one person beats yoou on the cheek show him the other cheek also.love cannot make conditions for god did not make conditions to love us sinners.but he forgives us unconditionally when we repent thus we should not want in return but always give love to others. the fire of love of god should flow as an overflowing river to quench the thirst of those who dont love us in return.thus byv loving our neighbour as ourself and by loving our enemy and persecuters as ourself we can reach god if we repent for the sins we commit and proclaim thaT GOD SAVED US .

God himself comes himself, gives the revealed scriptures and sends His sons, representatives and therefore has given us the means and ways to reach him according to different time, place and circumstances.
For instance, in some place he sent Jesus Christ and Holy Bible.
Elsewhere he sent Mohammed and Al Quran.
"This Gitopanishad, Bhagavad-gita, the essence of all the Upanishads, is just like a cow, and Lord Krishna, who is famous as a cowherd boy, is milking this cow. Arjuna is just like a calf, and learned scholars and pure devotees are to drink the nectarean milk of Bhagavad-gita." (Gita-mahatmya 6)
In the Bhagavad gita, Lord Krishna has given the different themes Karma-yoga for Karmis, Jnana-yoga for Jnanis, Dhyana-yoga for Yogis and atlast Bhakti-yoga for everyone.
So, you can adopt Bhakti-yoga to reach God.

There is no main theme to reach GOD. Its ur faith, belive in GOD and pray to HIM whenever & however u like. If it is from ur heart, it will definitly reach to GOD.

acts 10:34,35 says God does not respect persons, elsewhere it says to respect a person is to have sinned, but it also says that where men fear God and do works of righteousness, THEY are accepted of God. it clearly says of ALL NATIONs.
to fear God you have to have some faith, so faith and repentance are the fundamental beliefs of religion.
but, Jesus has warned us not to be deceived. he said search the scriptures and pray. but it is also written by Paul that if there is anything Good we Believe it.
