I have no desire to run my own company. I know how to operate in a production setting and I have been a team leader. If anything I kind of think it sucks that our country has gotten away from a valued work force. During the early 1990's I can remember how the people I worked with really respected their fellow workers. In today's environment [at least in the settings I have been put in] everyone is so replaceable and jealous of their fellow workers that everyone almost works in an atmosphere of contempt. If I ran my own company I would want my workers to go home to their own house and have plenty of food on the table. I would want them to be proud of their effort. It is a hidden ingredient of success. People work harder when they think they have a future. When they are just getting by the abuse their machinery and start fights at work, because they are unhappy. Unfortunately my future doesn't look very good unless I change jobs again or marry money. I am just barely getting by.
