I do some weightlifting 3 nights a week, and jog every other day.
I take Whey protein after every workout.
Yet it seems that I can't lose any of the extra fat...

ok look man first of all take the protein before a workout
such as fish oil or something.
then begin for shoulder muscle
i would suggest butterflies
take to dumbells and hold them in your hand while standing up
then move both arms upwards as attempting to fly.
thank you and have a great day.

My workout consultation habitual includes chasing around my 19 month previous all day daily. LOL. With my first being pregnant, I walked daily and hiked a minimum of thrice each week. I have been given an outstanding sort of workout all the way till I went into exertions. My medical expert informed me i grew to become into gaining too lots to boot. i think of a few women individuals only benefit extra no remember what they do. i finished up gaining forty two pounds, had an exceedingly healthful 8.5lb infant, and lost all the burden plus 5 pounds interior of three-4 months. So... as long as you're workout consultation (what you're doing sounds super) and are eating healthful, i does not concern related to the burden benefit in any respect. solid success!

The most common mistake people make in weight lifting is they don't do enough sets. You won't get any muscle gain unless you do 3-5 sets per muscle group. You should do 7 or more sets for legs to really see results there. I think if you concentrate on gaining muscle it will be easier to have a toned look. The more weight you lose, the more muscle you lose, so keep up the jogging, but don't eat less than 1600 calories. jogging 3 days a week is probably good enough to keep your metabolism up. Also, you will get more muscle gains with free weights than with nautilus machines.

are you increasing how much wieght you are lifting? if you aren't , it could be that your body is just used to this level of fitness and needs an extra push, increase your running, distance, or run uphill
