Yes http://www.creditexpert.co.uk or http://www.experian.co.uk (same company) Experian are offering a 30day free trial period. Excellent service and it includes a credit score

The only "free" one is via Martins Money Supermarket route but that requires a credit card, surely you have £2.50 because that's all Experian charge for a one off credit search. It sounds like you ought to, since you appear to be the sort of customer they would be fighting over. Just look up Experian via a search engine and you will get all the details, best of luck

Hi, I am not sure, I do know, I myself work from home. I like the work I do. there is a small fee. Yes most company that are on the up & up only want a small fee. If you are not sure of any home base company. you can always check with the better business. Most of the ads that are placed. Are usely check out to be sure there is not fraud.
