Dysplastic nevi or atypical mole syndrome is a hereditary condition which causes the person to have a large quantity of moles (often 100 or more) with some of them larger than normal and/or atypical. This leads to a higher risk of melanoma, a serious skin cancer. A slight majority of melanomas do not form in an existing mole, but rather create a new growth on the skin. Nevertheless, those with dysplastic nevi are at a higher risk of even this type of melanoma. Such persons need to be checked regularly for any changes in their moles (and to note any new ones).

Yes you should.
Only 1 particular mole itch?
Does new mole appears on your body?
Do you have any "funny" colored moles on you? Other than the normal black or brown?

Moles can be consider as tumour.
Moles can be cancerous.
You should go consult a doctor the soonest.

Not til you've seen a doctor. Do they change in colour or size? I've got lots of the buggers and have them checked when they do change or itch. So far so good! DO NOT SCRATCH!! I know it's hard not to but really try not to do it. I had one of mine removed (on my face) due to itchiness and I kept catching it with my nail. It's not painful, just feels a bit weired.

when you itch, do they bleed? Have they changed size or shape? All questions that your doc will ask, so think about the answers before you go to the doctor, but you should go, as the incidence of skin cancer is rising fast in this country

I don't know if you should be worried, but you certainly should discuss them with your physician and go to a dermatologist if the physician refers you.
