what do i do if my bf's family does not like me because of my family? we've been arguing and having a lot of problems about this subject, since he's in the middle. what should i do?

just try to work things out, and forget family problems.it is you and him only. not the family..

Just relax and be happy. U have him and he loves u. Plan for your future. The family issues can be settled later or not. It is of no consequence. Do not argue, neither you nor your husband has chosen the family, you were born into it, but you and your husband have chosen each other, tied the knot, so do what is your duty as per the vows, there was no mention of family differences.

You could try to talk to his family. Explain to them that you care about their son and would love the chance for them to get to know you. You most likely can't change their opinions overnight but if you work on them slowly perhaps with time they can become more open to you and your family. Also, try to talk to yur boyfriend, not fight with him and ask him for suggestions on what you guys can do to work on this. Make this a team effort which can bring you guys together rather than tear you apart! In the end though, as long as you two love each other than that is all that really matters! It does make things more difficult, but if you are in love you'll find ways to overcome outside opinions.

hello, ahh yes this brings to mind the story of romeo, and juliet, william shakespeers story of lovers, in short romeo loved juliet but their families didnt like each other, and did everything in their power to stop their love, this is a control thing, in short the two lovers committ suicide, only then do their families come to realize the loss of their childern and their families futures, the story is just a story, but the lesson is this dont let anyone interfere in your life, after all it is your life and your future, if you and your boy friend really like each other you will come together, the influence of family will cause you both to argue, dont let this happen, make it a point to get along together, you and he will decide how your lives will be lived, but please dont follow shakespeers story that will prove nothing. best wishes.

If you two make a go of it leave the family out of it..they will either come around or not,..,.The relationship is between the two of you if they cannot accept it..stay away from them.....
