What are some signs to look for that a guy likes you more then just a friend?

I need to know what are some signs that a guy likes a girl as more then just a friend. The boy I'm thinking of is 15, and one of my best friends. I can't ask him straight out because he calls me weird and ignores me. He's a 15 year old boy, they do that. My problem is I'm biast since I happen to like him. I don't know if you could maybe help me. Just some signs to look for? I'll include a little detail. Lets see. We play fight. But he'll take it a step farther. He puts his arms around my shoulders, but only when we're "playing". We'll touch hands even when it's not nessecary. Like if I'm passing him gum, we'll touch hands for a few seconds. And wghen we sit together, he pretty juch presses his side against me. Plus, he's always trying to tickle me. He's also been trying to touch my face whenever possible. He tells me all the time he wishes I would stop wearing hoodies and my hair up in a ponytail. Sometimes he tries to act cool in front of me. It drives me nuts. I'm running out of space. I know this is a rather immature question. But as I happen to like the retard, I'm hoping you'll put up with it.

I think he likes you. Maybe he's just shy and calling you weird is just a defense mechanism because he's afraid to take the next step.

i may not be well expereince in this, but i'd like to say a few things. At 15, teenage are usually confused, they'd try everything. They'd say everything, most of the time unaware of the consequences. I've been thru what you're talking about. And I was a bit daring. Since, he is one of your best friends, I'm pretty sure he likes you as that. Trust me, you don't want to end a great friendship just becoz of some signs that looks like he likes you.

Signs that are usually particular usual that a boy likes you, is he'll do things out of the usual e.g, turns up with a bouquet of flowers in his hands for your birthday. If he likes you true, he would want to share every moment with you.

Since you do like the retard, why not do something like going out with another guy, see how he reacts. And asks him innocently what does he thinks of the other guy. If he ignores your question and start another topic, insist on an answer. Again you can see how he reacts. U gotta be creative in finding ways to know if he's into you. I'd always try to piss 'em off first to see which level are they.

Well, that's all i can say. things like these, they are neverending. You'll never know for sure if a guy likes you or not. But the again, there's nothing to lose girl...the earlier you ask straight out, the better. At least u know.

It is not a silly question--millions of young people have the simplest questions---yours is a question that has a few issues that need to be addressed. FIRST--knock off the play fights and touching--you are not 9 anymore---it is a boys immature way of contact--but you need to grow up and have a serious conversation about not tolerating the touching---it is annoying and offensive---grow up. There are no signs of his interest--you just hope that there are--I'm sure the innocent touches will stop after you make it clear to him--then what will he do??? He'll have to find a way to peak your interest. Well at your age it should be easy---check your own self over...dress appropriately, be groomed, see if he notices---the glances with a smile should tell you something---Don't wait forever for him---he probably will only mature as fast as anyother boy---later than the girls normally do---so date others for a while---you'll live without him. Let him age and figure out what he needs to do to grow up and appreciate you. Good luck
