Both can be used to convey the same idea. "Right now, I am typing a response." Or "I am typing a response, at the moment." Both good. However, "right now" also works well at the end of a demand, whereas "at the moment" doesn't hold up very well, for such a purpose.

An old spinster said to her old friend: When I was younger I was looking for Mr. Right. At the moment, I am looking for Mr. Right Now!

At the moment is not restricted to the present time, it can be at the moment.....of impact, or at the moment....of birth. At the moment can mean at this moment , meaning now, which is less urgent than right now.

"At the moment" is more passive; "Right now" is imperative. Ex: "Do this RIGHT NOW." vs: "At the moment I am busy."
Hope that helped.
