Money itself is inanimate, not evil. It is just a rationing device used by an economy to dole out resources in a rational manner. In addition, it is the obsession with money that can cause strife and bitterness between people. Churches want money because, essentially, they need it to function. Households and firms, such as a church, NEED money to exist in society. It's basic economics, not an issue of morality.

It is the love of money that is the root of evil.
1Ti 6:10 - For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
Churches need money to operate. It takes money to maintain a building and pay staff.
What church do you go to? The church of the local bar? The church of the gas guzzler car? The church of the fancy country club? You are willing to pay your money for something. Where do you spend it?
All money is, is a token representing how much someone else values something you have provided for them.
Someone who loves money neglects their families, and cheats others in dishonest negotiations and dealings.
The system of economics is founded on the favors people do for one another. If I do something for you (ie. produce food for you), I expect something in return (ie. you make a tractor for me to produce more food).
All money does, is simply makes these favors portable. So, for instance, you are a dentist, and I don't need a dentist, but you need food, you can fix Joe the tractor builder's teeth, and Joe will give you money. Since I need a tractor from Joe, I will give him money.
So money is just a medium of exchange.
If there are some who cannot possibly produce anything of value for others, Joe, you, and I will chip in some to help them (either through social programs or charity).
.
In biblical Israel, even the women were entrepreneurial.

My dear dear boy - us mere civilians have had no formal training in how to deal with God, Archangels, the Devil etc. This is why we need to go to church, because we unburden our sins on to those who have been highly trained. As such, the Church takes it upon themselves to try and remove as much evil as possible from the world, if this means making you poorer, and them richer...then they must rise up to this despicable task with all the faith they can muster. Do not fret, my brother, I believe that all the monies collected, (after the bills have been paid, and the lettuce has been bought) is destroyed.. (usually by way of gambling and loose women, but this may change from Church to Church).
I hope I have shed some light onto your blackened soul.
Thank you.

You are so confused! Money as the evil is propaganda aimed at those who have it not. Money is good - it is how the society appreciates you. Get a degree, get a good job, make a lot of money and don't waste it. It's all good. Church, however is also not what people think it is...

of we love money more than God, that's the route of evil... for example, we live just for money, that's not good
we should know that source of money is God and everybody needs money, not only church and they dont force you to give money, God works through people and God gave riches to some people so they could help others

In this country (and most churches), you gotta make the money first. Then when you get the money, you get the power. Then when you get the power, then you get the women.

AMEN
Our tithes and offerings are not to be given to men, but unto YHWH. The Cohen/Priest of YHWH were entrusted to act in His Name they were to receive tithes from the people. It is the Cohen/Priest who is to seek Justice, Peace and Equality according to Torah for each local community as well as internationally, and use tithes and offerings to establish righteousness in the Name of YHWH. But today, the religious institutions are fat with false shepherds collecting tithes and offerings in the name of "HaShem" or "the LORD", or "in Jesus Name" and they despise the Word of the Living Elohim and favor their own traditions!
They will soon see!
Bless you in Yeshua Ha Meshiyach
