Just about the only positive thing about the high minimum wage, here in Washington State, is that it has forced the State, and most of the counties and cities, to go to online self-service systems and eliminate staff.

Here, you mostly don't have to deal with a clerk. You just do it yourself online.

This works in stores too! Recently, I had a rude clerk in a store. I just pointed to the self-checkout counter and said, "You're next!" She got the point, and she wasn't happy about it!
