well you wouldnt find a pulse, an you'd look in the mirror and see that your colour isnt right, you may also find it difficult to open and close your eyes.
an depending on how long you been dead, you might find it hard to move , you might also be a bit smelly.
on the up side, you might find it almost impossible to bleed after you cut yourself, you wont have to shave again, and you can stay up as late as you want.
and if you are still mobile you can scare the crap out of all the people you meet.

Well, I would find my name in the Obits. Then there is the death record, and all the necessary paperwork that has to be signed and processed following a death, death taxes and so forth. Not worth dying at any rate. I don't plan on dying, I figure that I am destined to be immortal ;)
