Yes, I had to give it to my daughter when she was an infant. She had reflux and would wake up screaming at night. I tried many things before giving it to her and nothing else worked. The first night I gave it to her, she slept through the night. It was amazing and really made a difference. After 3 months the doctor recommended decreasing the dosage to see if she still needed it. Within 2 days she was crying again. We tried doing this every three months. Then, after one year, we reduced the dosage and she was fine. Then we reduced it more until she no longer needed it.

My oldest daughter had the same problem when she was an infant (10 years ago) and they wouldn't prescribe it because she was gaining weight even though she was spitting up an outrageous amount at every feeding and waking screaming several times a night. Doctors know better now and realize it can really make a difference. The medication won't harm your child, but the reflux can damage the esophagus and is very painful. Good luck and I hope it helps your child as much as it did mine.

You need to talk with your pediatrician about this....My son took something for reflux but it was prescribed by his doctor...he was on it for a yr. and now he is doing better without it! Your child may be too young to take something over the counter!

Not my kid, but I take it and it works great. Works pretty quickly. No problems.
