what kinda stuff will a guy do you for attention?

hes been coming to my church for about 2 months, he looks at me as if he wants to say hi but then passes me without looking or smiling at me...so last week we had him and his family for dinner and he acted like we've known each other for like 10 years and were best friends...what does this mean...

p.s. i do like him, hes nice, funny, and tall witch i'm tall so that matters to me...haha...so yeah

I think u should try saying hi. I bet he's very comfortable when people are around. he's just shy when its just u two. just say hi. good luck
