they wrote down the information on my ID, and i had to stay there for four hours. i was wondering if anyone knows if they will send anything to my house, or if i have to do any community service?

What the heck state actually gives tickets for being drunk in public? You would never get something like that in Wisconsin- people get drunk and go out in public all the freaking time. In madison you see them throwing up in the street's and as long as they're not bothering anyone they can go about their business.
If you need to show up anywhere they will notify you or you will receive a citation with a 'must appear' date on it. You probably won't have to do community service though, it will just be a fine.

Need a little more information. Are you an adult or juvenile? You say you were arrested. Were you taken to jail and processed into the facility or were you taken to the VOA directly? Did you receive a citation?
It sounds as if the police simply took you someplace to sober up and allowed you to go on your way. If you were not cited then there is nothing else that is going to happen.

I don't think they will send anything to your house, but you probably will have to do community service. Just call them and find out what you need to know. They will really be glad you called them instead of them having to find you. That might play in your favor.

Well the best thing to do would be to ask them. Likely you will have to do comm service if they sent you there. Just give them a call to find out what information they havent told you.

if they didn't tell u anything or issue a court date or something along those lines you most likely just got thrown into the drunk tank to sober up, i wouldn't worry about it too much

they will surely send something to your house and you may have to go to court yet and then do whatever they say you have to, why dont you grow up being a drunk isnt attractive to anyone.

did this happen anywhere in ga? cuz i was at work about 2 and a half weeks ago, and a female got arrested for that same thing. lol.
