if you're not comfortable make him get the test again, pay for it if that's what it takes, or tell him you have *********** and he better get tested to see if he has it too.

No. The re-enlistment physical is not really a "physical", its more of a look over of your medical records. You can get every STD test there is in the Navy, but you have to ask for it, as its not a part of any physical. Medical only routinely tests for HIV.

Military physicals last ALL day. Every inch of your body is inspected, innoculated, probed, poked & analyzed. The only thing they don't do is xrays, MRI's & C-scans. Reenlistment physicals are the same routine. Drug tests are periodically done via urine samples. If he had STD or any other social disease they'd know about it.

Yes. They can test for other STDs with bloodwork other than HIV. They can test for Syphillis and HIV and AIDS and HPV. Gonorrhea I think they actually have to do a wet prep for with cells from....well... you get the idea. I know they do for women. And they can also find Chlamydia in urine tests.

Besides if you have been trying to get him to be tested, then you and he have other underlying issues....

You're checked for STD's more often than you know. Usually they do this through your "labs" when they take your blood.

Service members are the cleanest people on the planet in that regard.

Not for everything. I would think Syphilis at least, since its cheap and easy. I would hope gonnohrea, but I doubt it.

they will not tell you if he passed or failed a STD test. it is his medical information-classified-private.
