Yes

I have ADHD and I didn't get meds until only a couple of years ago

What I usually do is listen to music and study... for some reason it helps me concentrate. Like, if I can tap my foot or keep the beat somewhere on my body, it almosts curbs my hyperactiveness... and it makes it easier to study.

But make sure it's not music with lyrics... or else the lyrics get distracting.

JosephC and the Alien/Scientologist are very ignorant, please ignore them. Just take A LOT of frequent breaks, like every 10-15 minutes and make sure to keep the breaks short. Maybe do exercise, like 20 jumping jacks or situps, or take a quick walking lap around the house. Try to avoid coffee, drink black tea or herbal tea instead. Good luck, but remember, frequent short breaks to burn energy and then relax with teas and bubble baths!

Hello. First of all let you assure you there is no such thing as ADHD. Do your own research but it was testified in Switzerland about a year ago by a top panel of leading psychologist and psychiatrists that this was a made up label to sell lots of drugs. And they have made billions just on the drug Ritalin which is the most common one of all.
We at the Church of Scientology operate free literacy centres and you can find one in your area and get this "ADHD" completely fixed up.
It it all too easy to address and fix.
Best regards.

firstly, I hope you have been diagnosed by a professional as having ADHD. if it is not within your financial capability to pay for therapy sessions, I guess there are some non-governmental organizations who give assistance to those who are financially incapacitated. do a little check in your area. if not, approach your pastor or parish priest. they may have some ideas as to how to go about helping you.

If you are serious about wanting to help yourself you can check out the energy therapy called e f t. It is easy to learn and apply, but does require practice and discipline. Joseph - you're clueless. While it is severely overdosed, it really does exist in about 1 in every 1 billion people. What's wrong with those statistics?

There is no such thing as ADHD - it's a myth like Santa Claus, the tooth fairy and global warming. Stop listening to those liberal, stupid psychologists and believing ill about yourself.

ADHD is a fairly recently invented PC "disease" that is most often applied as a label to young people who can't stand to be imprisoned all day with some boring hag and who show signs of normalcy or masculinity.

I tell you again - stop believing in this stupidity.
