I have tried the seaweed range and I really liked it. I used the seaweed facial wash and moisturiser. I had normal to combination skin but I think some of the range is best designed for oily/combination or oily skin as I found that it slightly dried my skin. Often at the body shop they will give you free mini makeovers so just go in there and ask if you can test the products on your face. That way you get a bit of a treatment but you can also go home and see how the products feel .

I have been using products from the body shop for about a year now and I love them. I have oily skin and started using the tea tree oil line. Personally, the tea tree is too strong to use the whole line but the good thing about the body shop is that you can mix and match products to fit your skin condition. I will tell you what I use and hopefully it will help you in your decision:
1. I now use the seaweed line of products which is working very well. I use the facial wash, toner, moisturizer and night cream. For the moisturizers, only use the night cream at night. You should choose a day cream based on whether you spend more time indoors or outdoors. If outdoors then you should get the day cream with SPF 15. Otherwise, purchase the other.
2. I still use some tea tree products but only certain things. For example, I love the tea tree oil and I use it on blemishes on my face and back. I was using the tea tree facial wash but my skin still felt oily after I used it so I switched to the tea tree oil bar soap. It was too strong which is why I switched to seaweed. However, the tea tree oil bar soap is still very cleansing and if it is not too drying, I recommend it. You can also use it to bathe with. Your skin will feel squeaky clean afterwards.
I hope this has been helpful. As far as the other body shop products, I love everything they sell and I also purchase their home fragrances. The oil lamps are really good for dispersing aromas around your home. The good thing about the home oils is that you can mix scents together and create your own aromas. You will figure out which ones smell good to you. I prefer the green tea and africa spa wisdom scents (not together). If you have any other questions please feel free to contact me. Also, you should visit the body shop website as each product they sell provides a description of what it does and its purposes. Good luck.

I have acne prone skin, and while I was on a clear run, I decided to try the Body Shop Seaweed skin care line. In fact, I bought the travel kit to take with me on my honeymoon. BIG MISTAKE. I absolutely broke out during the most romantic time of my life. Fortunately my new husband was understanding...
I later found out that iodine (found in high quantities in seaweed) is quite bad for some people who are acne prone, and I am guessing that's what triggered the breakout, because as soon as I got home and started using my normal products, my skin was fine again.
I wouldn't recommend this line if you've had a history of acne, or are prone to breaking out every once in a while.
That said, I've had fairly good success with the tea tree oil range. Nothing spectacular, but I sure as hell didn't break out like with the seaweed line.

I would say too much tbh. You will be stripping your skin of it's natural moisture and oils which are necessary to keep it looking young and healthy. I would cut down and just stick to a simply cleasning and moisturising day and night routine. Also you only need to use an exfoliating face scrub like 1-2 times a week (once if your skin is dry/sensitive and twice if it is oily). 3 times is an excessive amount to exfoliate it in my opinion. I would pick your favourite cleanser (try and get one as well which suits your skin type) and use this in the morning. Then follow with a good moisturiser. And then at night use this cleanser again and then apply a night moisturiser and then the eyecream as well if you want to continue to use that. As for toner, some people find it is too harsh on their skin and that it dries it out. Personally I never use toner cause it dries my skin out and some skin experts actually say it's unnecessary and is pretty pointless but some say it is a good thing to use so I guess it depends on peoples opinion. I think just cleansing and moisturising morning and night, exfoliating 1-2 times a week and always removing eye and face make up before you go to sleep is good enough. Maybe cut back to using masks a couple of times a month or something as these also can dry out the skin and be too much for it. Also remember to drink plenty of water as this really does make the world of difference with your skin and makes it naturally very moisturised and it gives it a nice dewy look. Also if you drink a lot of coffee or just normal tea, consider switching to green tea as this is much better for your skin. I think your current skin routine is very hefty and they often say messing with your skin too much really does strip it of essential oils. I think a simple and consistant routine is better for your skin and also less pricey but that is just my opinion. You will also save time.

i've tried the tea tree cleanser from body shop and it works great especially when you get home at night coz it really removes all the dirt off your skin.. i think it'll work best if you're prone having pimples or acnes coz this line really dries it up. the downside is if your skin is dry, then it further dries it up especially if the weather is cold..on the other hand you can use the body shop illuminator (great on mornings before going to work), it really moisturizes the skin and gives it a bronzed look ( coz it has shimmers ) .. both smell fantastic.
the body shop body butter feels real good too, a quick fix for very dry skin.. it gives the skin a healthy look..
i think the tea tree line also has a concealer, this is also great if you wanna cover up zits and blemishes although the downside is they dont have a tone close to tan so if you're fair skinned this might work great for you...
hope this helps :)

I used the tea tree line because I have acne prone, sensitive skin. I wanted my skin to be less oily and it worked wonders.
I have a friend who used the seaweed line. He has normal skin not too mnay problems. He said it gave him a really clean, fresh feeling.
