Let's say they buy a cheap boarding pass, and go through security and bring a whole bunch of cash...I think they can essentially live off of food courts, sleep on those chairs, and use the washrooms to bathe and freshen up. Plus they have some new clothes to change into. (not sure how they'd do laundry) They could use the TV's as entertainment and use their cell phone for communication. I wonder if there is a Guiness Book of world records on this...LOL

They would notice you after a day or two once you pass the boarding check point.

I would suggest not getting a boarding pass at all. In a really big air port you could probably wonder around for a week or even longer with out having to go through any check points.

O'Hara airport has a lot of food vender's and restaurants and things like that out side of the boarding area.

I would try a really big airport cause at night in smaller one there are less flights and you would be more noticeable. O'Hara, LAX places like that.

If you plan it really well a lot of the bigger airport have lockers, you could get a few for clothes and have a partner that would bring you fresh ones if you needed.

Remember a phone charger(NEVER leave your charge plugged in and walk away, the airport will think it is bomb and come find out, that will blow you cover.) and a few books and/or cross word puzzles.

Remember, the bigger the airport the better.

I think someone did this with a wal-mart once.

Good Luck.

I'm not sure WHY someone would want to do this. Probably the bigger the airport, the easier this would be to accomplish. I'm not sure if the security would allow this (certainly people spend overnights in airport terminals, with stranded flights during massive snowstorms and such). But it would seem they would catch on and eventually ask you to leave. I remember reading a few months after 9/11 that it has become almost impossible for homeless people to stay for very long at the airport because of security restrictions.

There's a true story of someone who has been living at Charles DeGaulle Airport in Paris for several years. This is what the movie "The Terminal" with Tom Hanks was about. Apparently he's from somewhere in the Middle East and had visa problems, and was denied entry legally into France and also couldn't board a plane to go home, for some legal reason, so he was stuck at the airport for a long time before it was straightened out. Apparently he still lives there several years later (and also sounds like he's kinda mentally ill).

You could try it. I remember a movie about something like this though. It would not be something new, but if you want to try doing it you may find it difficult because of the many restrictions and security in airports since 9-1-1. The movie was fun to watch. It was done at the Mirabel Airport north of Montreal.
