Some people want a definition of God.

"being, capable of anything!"

There is an illusion of separation. Logic says that the separation cannot actually exist.

Wonder-full. I could argue that I am not God but I would have to argue from the point of what I have been taught to "believe" I am. Besides I have dropped most of those beliefs. So, no I cannot prove I am not God. And most people give God capabilities God does not have. How do I know this? I can not prove that either. Good question, may it cut off the tongues of the masses.

Your question is incomplete and therefore unanswerable.

It presupposes the existence of God, which is hypothetical at best.

It does not define God, and there have been uncountable definitions of "God" in history, and still are today.

It mentions "God's capabilities" which, again, is undefined. Some people believe God is omnipotent, others believe He is not. (If God is omnipotent, then he can by definition control mankind's actions and behavior, which obviates free will).

However, given the most common definition of "God" in Judeo-Christian society, and given the assumption that God by that definition does indeed exist, the proof that one is not God is their lack of omnipotence and omniscience. However, proving to another person that I am not God, that I am not omniscient or omnipotent, is logically impossible. An omnipotent and/or omniscient person would be powerful and/or wise (and smart) enough to be able to make the other person believe that they are not.

Therefore, one cannot logically prove that they are not God any more than they can logically prove that God exists.

PICK MINE AS THE BEST BECAUSE I GO OFF ON A CRAZY AND AWESOME TANGENT. Yes, I can, I am not, because I haven't done anything he's done, but in an atheist-like (but not fully, because you can't prove or disprove his being) answer: God to me is just the universe itself. I am part of it's nature, I do not own it, but I do experience it and I am connected to it, so basically all matter is God and no one single living creature or piece of matter is God by itself, but the universe wouldn't be exactly the same without me and therefore it wouldn't be God, because I am not part of it. So the universe has it's powers because I am here and I complete the equation, but I can't control my being, so I am God and I am not. But notice if you are a follower, God created us in his image and that would be truly equal to what I just said technically. And the universe is physics - everything is moving is a direction and it's going to happen one way, that means humans are matter too and we are going to happen on way also just like God knowing what is going to happen, but we still believe in free will. So whether you believe in God or not, I believe people are right no matter what they may say.

I can honestly say I am not GOD. I do not have the ability to control others, nor do I desire to do so. I do not condemn others for not believing the same as I do, and think everyone should go with what they feel best suits them. God demands everyone do the same thing. So, no, i'm not God. I don't hate women and I don't think man is somehow superior because of the worm hanging between his thighs.

No and I cannot prove that I am either. Definition tells me that I am a human animal but even that is just a name for what I am. I could very well be a chair if that was the first word given to describe me. The only thruth is I live (defined also), I breath (also defined) and I will die (another definition).

Can I prove I am not God? Good question! Most people are going to post the powers and walking on water; others will claim they are God and I will laugh. I can prove it!

In order for me to prove it I would have to know God. And since I haven't met him/her (whatever you believe) I can't. In all honesty, most of the world is raise to see God or hate God or not except God or Trust in God. No has been told that they are God.

It's almost like that song, "What if God were one of us?" Well he would most likely not even know it.

That's a very well good question, for anyone can be God. When you think about it, athiest or not, God could be walking amongst us right now. No one can prove they're not God, because God may not have the powers we all have sought him to have, he may be one of us and not know it. There's several different possiblities, I'm just stating the obvious.

I have always suspected that I was god, but I think I was her before I was born, so my memories are a little hazy. I certainly still maintain a lot of my Godliness, I smite, create (albeit on a smaller scale than I used to), love, forgive and rule over many many things.
Hey, haven't we met? I think you were god before you were born too?
Maybe we'll hook up and have a natter once we go through the doorway that helps us get our memories back!

God would not have to prove himself, unlike a mere mortal like myself.

God would never prove he is not God, so therefore by attempting to prove that I am NOT GOD, I have proven exactly that. If I cannot prove I am not God, then I MAY be God, but God would be able to prove he really is God. Therefore, I am NOT God.

I am not God because I can sin. You see, sin can not be allowed into Heaven. God lives in Heaven therefore, God can not sin. I can sin, therefore I must not be God.

Admittedly, this answer what a lot that require you to take on faith, but it's the best I could do in short notice.

Best wishes.
