One way to help would be to convert Gasoline into Propane. That's what My Avatar is a Photo of, lit on Fire to prove it really works. 50 + MPG, & 10 X less Pollution is possible with even the largest SUV. The world will never change to a Alternative fuel/power source
because there too much money to be made from oil and coal.
The government won't allow it, if the did don't you think they
would of enforced solar or wind power by now?

To say that we should recycle, plant more trees and to conserve
energy is a complete waste of time unless you are able to supply
an alternative to:- Oil, Petrol, Plastic, Coal, All varieties of Metal.
These are just a few products that Humans cannot live without,
And the means to produce these materials and products creates
an unimaginable amount of Pollution...

So ask yourself if you can live in this day in age without the
above products and the answer is no.

The worlds problems are perpetual ,don't worry about the
pollution and enjoy life, worrying about the Pollution will just
make you age quicker....

Well have you ever been to http://www.earthday.net/footprint/info.asp it lets you measure your output of pollution on the planet, it also tells you if everyone in the world was just like you, how many earths you would need to survive. You might also want to read up on some bookes like, Plan B 2.0, The complete idiot's guide to Global Warming, and Global Warming Personal Soultuions for a Healthy Planet by Christopher spence its a lot about global warming but it also tells about how to stop pollution and what it causing it. You can also watch "an inconvieient truth" by al gore. There is a lot of information out there on web sites and im books, just do your reasearch like i did, it pays off. And can I also suggest that you buy the books used off of amazon, there really cheep that way. Thanks i hope i help.

Because it doesn't cost anything to waste and pollute. If destructive activities were regulated monetarily, they would decrease significantly. In economics, doing something that hurts something and not paying for it is called an externalities-- for instance, pumping the atmosphere full of Greenhouse Gases or filling a river with blood from a slaughterhouse or chemicals from New Jersey. The polluter gets a free sewer system and the rest of society pays in the form of global warming and polluted waterways.
