I am an engineering student. i am doing lot of careless mistakes. for example adding 2+4 = 5 not all the time occationally. Due to this i am loosing lot of marks all the way. some times copying from + to - . so please give me a suggetion what kind of practise to help me to avoid or overcome this problem ? then suggest some books to practise to overcome this problem ?

No amount of practise is going to help you unless you try to destress yourself during your examination. Be calm and don't cloud your mind with premonition that you are careless.
