Not the " End of Time" but " the conclusion of the system of things"
there is a big difference.
The system we now know will be done away with. Governments and countries. no more Nationalism, no more borders, with everybody on the earth worshippong the ONE TRUE GOD. And with Jesus as King over the whole earth.
The earth itself will not be destroyed but will be brought back to paradise conditions.
everybody will have their own space and plenty to eat.
In short, a perfect world.
Evil people, and the worstr of them all, Satan, will no longer influence people to do wrong.
(Revelation 20:10) And the Devil who was misleading them was hurled into the lake of fire and sulphur, where both the wild beast and the false prophet [already were]; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

The end of the world has been predicted so many times, and still we are here. All the wars, plagues and natural disasters which have afflicted this world have caused people to keep predicting the end of the world. Again we will survive. If an asteroid hit the Earth, we would survive, of a fashion.
Religious people, some with only good intentions and unswerving belief, have predicted the coming of Christ and subsequent rapture and judgement day. Guess what? We are still here.
When will people stop this stupidity of trying to see things in the future? The Earth is too stable to end. It has existed for 5 billion years or so, it will continue for another few billion.

Nope I actually thought the end of time would be in 2000 and that didn't happen. I finally woke up from that delusion and realized that very thing. Every generation has thought the end of the world was coming; WW1 & WW2 are perfect examples of this. Fear of the unknown is all it is. The mayan calendar is the new fear and when its 2013 there will be a new fear and so on and so on.

Yes, I believe the "end of time" is upon us. Many of what Jesus spoke of as warnings to His coming.. are upon us. The birth pangs have increased. This passage speaks of the "rapture" not the Second Coming as many believe. All predictions have been fulfilled for Christ to come out onto the cloud and gather His bride.
The Second Coming is when Jesus will literally step on Mount Olives and split the ground. Two different events completely.
But the time is at hand for sure.
Yes, all generations have felt it was going to be in their generation. But, not all generations saw Israel become a nation.. that generation was those of 1948 and 1967 generation when Israel gained their capital back, Jerusalem. The Bible tells us the generation that sees this.. shall not all pass away.

All generations (at least in the Christian world) have had some members who felt that the "End Times" were upon them. They weren't right then, and they were completely convinced and used Scripture to back themselves up. So I see no particular reason to believe that they are right now.
The best antidote to this feeling is to pick up a few good history books and start reading. You'll soon see that there have always been wars, famines, plagues, assorted disasters, and a nagging sense that things might be getting worse rather than better. It's just that in the modern world you hear about it in stronger doses thanks to global media beaming bad stuff from all the other parts of the world into your home.
That's my opinion, anyway.

No... I REALLY DON'T.
People have been proclaiming that they are living through the "end times" for waaaaay too long. There's always some unhygienic street-corner evangelist crackpot sputtering about how the world is going to end and that all the heathens better get the Lord harassed into their unsaved souls.
It STILL hasn't happened. The sky isn't falling. The oceans aren't boiling. Pigs are most definitely NOT sprouting wings and taking to the skies. They've been barking about it for years and years and years and they'll STILL be barking for years to come.
It's a scare tactic, a convenient freak- the- everliving- crap- out- of- folks magic wand that can be waved about in dramatic fashion any time the religious collective feels the soul harvest is running dry.
Trust me... go about your life. Ok, I'm sure you will anyhow considering there's really no alternative option (besides suicide, and I've heard “God” frowns upon that), but just make sure to keep in mind: STAY CALM. DON'T PANIC. REMEMBER YOUR TOWEL.

I'm sure many generations have come and gone that felt they were living in the end times.
The difference for us is May,15, 1948 when in one day the tiny State of Israel came into being.

Religious people have been joyously hoping for the end of time, since the beginning of time. It must be so depressing to go around always thinking that it is the end. Go get some happy drugs from your doctor and all this doom and gloom that religion is wanting to you believe will go away.
The retarded prophesies were written way back when, back when they also created your "God" in the image of the war Gods of that era. Or did you not know that? Hence the war God is going to come back and end everything.
Oh and after God ends everything and judges people, then what? Do we all just sit around doing nothing for eternity?
